National Account Manager

Project N95 is the National Clearinghouse for critical personal protective equipment (PPE) and medical supplies. We protect healthcare and frontline workers by matching procurement teams with vetted suppliers as quickly as possible to get supply into the hands of frontline workers and underserved, vulnerable and special needs populations through service as a trusted and transparent procurement source. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with the culture and pace of a start-up.

As National Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing deep relationships with partner organizations and the successful execution of our group ordering program. Your impact will be measured through the ownership, development, and satisfaction of partnerships to expand the scale and reach of the organization’s mission.

You will report directly to the Executive Director and will also work closely with team members across all functional areas of the organization. This is a contract-to-hire position.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Proactively identify, engage, cultivate, and nurture new and current partnerships that enable group purchasing opportunities
  • Construct, scope, lead, and execute group orders from inception to delivery
  • Draw insights from past group orders and implement changes to constantly improve our efficiency and effectiveness to exceed expectations
  • Ensure clarity, consistency, and timeliness in communication to partners and across the organization
  • Persistently exceed satisfaction of both group order participants and our partners through customer-service orientation that ensures safeguarded relationships with partners
  • Recruit, train, and empower volunteers to amplify workflows, projects, and initiatives
  • Refined, professional communication style suitable for correspondence with senior management at partner organizations
  • Ability to effectively manage and deliver on multiple and simultaneous diverse and complex problems with grace

  • 5+ years experience in business development, account management and/or project management in a professional setting
  • Familiarity with web-based productivity tools (e.g. GSuite, Slack, Airtable, Intercom, Twilio Flex)
