Dr. Kate Goodrich Appointed to Board of Directors

Brooklyn, NY (December 21, 2020) — Project N95 announced that Dr. Kate Goodrich has been appointed to the organization’s Board of Directors. Dr. Goodrich brings decades of experience in healthcare to the organization, which is dedicated to delivering critical personal protective equipment (PPE) to healthcare and essential workers, as well as vulnerable communities.

“Kate’s expertise, insightful approach to critical issues and her passion for health equity will be extremely helpful in our work at Project N95,” said Executive Director Anne Miller. “Dr. Goodrich is a highly respected healthcare professional with extensive and relevant experience, and the Board and our team members are excited to work with her.”

Dr. Goodrich brings deep experience in healthcare and medicine and currently serves as Senior Vice President of Trends and Analytics at Humana. Prior to her work at Humana, Dr. Goodrich served as chief medical officer at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, where she oversaw the implementation of the MACRA legislation, significantly changing how clinicians are paid by transitioning to value-based payments. She also oversaw the implementation of quality star ratings for numerous types of providers (hospital, nursing home, dialysis facilities, home health, physicians), improving transparency into the quality and cost of care for consumers. In 2019, Modern Healthcare ranked Dr. Goodrich at No. 13 of its 100 Most Influential People in Healthcare.
